Experience Tokyo’s cherry blossom season at its most magical—under the soft glow of lanterns and twinkling lights in Nakameguro. This trendy riverside neighborhood is home to one of the city’s most breathtaking sakura displays, with nearly 2 kilometers of cherry trees lining the Meguro River, transforming the area into a fairy tale wonderland each spring evening.
As you stroll along the blossom-covered canal, let your senses come alive—the sweet fragrance of sakura petals drifting on the breeze, the lively hum of festival-goers, and the warm glow of paper lanterns reflecting in the water. Along the way, taste delicious seasonal street food, from grilled yakitori skewers and crispy tempura to sakura-flavored mochi and pink-hued sparkling sake. Friendly locals fill the streets, adding to the festive atmosphere, making this one of the most joyful springtime traditions in Tokyo. After some time exploring the vibrant restaurant and shopping district, we head off to a special regional dinner at a cozy izakaya, where you’ll enjoy dishes paired with fun drinks and surprising flavors—the perfect way to toast to Tokyo’s most spectacular cherry blossom season. Join us for an unforgettable spring night! Then, we finish up back on the river for some final photos and a memory-making dessert!
